Health & Physical Education

The goal of our Health and Physical Education program is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and values they need to make informed decisions and lead a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Our program helps to develop lifelong habits of physical activity, wellness, and healthy living.
Through engaging, inclusive, and skill-based instruction, we aim to build physical competence, foster teamwork, promote personal responsibility, and encourage a positive attitude toward fitness, health, and personal growth.
Looking ahead at the school year- activities such as Fitnessgram, Family Fitness Night, Kids Heart Challenge and Field Day are again planned this year to promote fitness, socialization, family bonding and community service as an extension of our Physical Education program at SIS.
The SIS Health and Physical Education Staff includes:
Robert Doughton (rdoughton@pmsd.org)
Arlene Hargrave (ahargrave@pmsd.org)
