Envirothon
Are you interested in the environment?
Do you know or want to learn about Pennsylvania’s animals, trees, plants, and ponds?
Swiftwater Intermediate School is looking to put together 4 teams of 5 students to compete in the 2026 Jr. Envirothon, held at Kettle Creek Environmental Center during the school day in May (date TBD). The teams will be tested on their knowledge of Pennsylvania animals and the environment. The tests are taken as a team.
In order to prepare for competition, we will be meeting before school on: Thursdays from 7:30am to 8:45am starting on October 2nd, 2025
If this sounds like a club you are interested in, please fill out the bottom portion and return to Ms. Taylor in room 225. There are only 20 spots available to 5th and 6th graders, so the students will be selected on a first come basis.
All students/parents need to be signed up for Class Dojo, as all information for club members will be communicated via Class Dojo.
