Coding Club
5th & 6th Grade Students
Thank you for your interest in our 5th and 6th grade Coding Club. This club will take place every Wednesday and Thursday morning before school, starting on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. The club is scheduled to end on March 12, 2026. It is important for you to understand that in order to participate, you must return this form, completed and signed by a parent/guardian, to Mr. Eisler. Club will be held from 7:40-8:40 AM. You must be dropped off at school by a parent/guardian between 7:35-7:40 AM. Busing is not available for this program. Space is limited. If all spaces fill up, I will create a waiting list in the event that there are future openings.
Morning Drop-Off
Students must be dropped off at the entrance doors at the front lobby of the school and enter the building BETWEEN 7:35 AND 7:40 AM. I will meet students at the front door on club days. Please do not drop off your student prior to 7:35 AM. Students must remain in the car until I arrive at the door. It is very important that you arrive on time.
What to Expect
The mission of the Coding Club is to provide extra opportunities for our students to expand their knowledge of basic computer programming. We will be using the Scratch program. Coding helps students develop logical thinking skills, computational skills, problem solving skills, communication skills, creative thinking skills, and digital literacy
